Beginnings and Endings

Catherine Maire is a graduate student in the University of Baltimore’s creative writing program where she writes experimental fiction, poetry and the occasional politically incorrect essay. She has been through many beginnings and many endings: a research chemist, calligrapher, teacher, wife, mother, widow. She spends her spare time encouraging her grown children to get over their embarrassment and read her blog, Adult Onset Adolescence. Her favorite excuse is, “But, it was the seventies.”
